Von Maur Eastview Mall

Von Maur acquired the former Bon-Ton store site in Victor, New York, outside Rochester, to expand its brand into New York and the Northeast. It decided to build a new store from the ground up. The exterior of the new building, which has Von Maur's signature exterior brick façade with arching entryways accented by a copper roof and cupolas, needed to be integrated with the existing buildings interface. In addition all work had to be coordinated with other projects going on at the mall at the same time.

Shoppers enjoy an open floor plan with arching entryways in an environment that showcases antiques and original artwork while offering upscale apparel, shoes, cosmetics, accessories. Amenities include comfortable seating areas and working fireplaces. This store's features include an antique pub in the Men's department, a motorcycle in the Young Men's Department and an interactive life-size tree in the Children's Department. A new look for the women's shoe department features soft white recessed shoe fixtures, fabric panels and indirect lighting that focuses on the merchandise.

Now New York shoppers can experience Von Maur's unique style, service and selection at a brand new store in the Eastview Mall. Jim von Maur, company president commented that, "Eastview Mall's fantastic mix of retailers, loyal customers and regional appear make it a great location to grow our brand."
