Dave Johnson is Managing Director of the Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska studios, along with the newly opened Kansas City (Missouri) location. He is responsible for a culture aligned with Shive-Hattery’s guiding principle, values and purpose. He’s an advocate for employees, fostering mentoring, development and engagement, while supporting growth strategies for culture, client experience, project delivery and profitability.
Dave founded and lead studio951 (now Shive-Hattery) for 25 years. Dave excels at building client relationships, business management and architectural direction for residential single and multi-family, commercial, manufacturing buildings, large mixed-use developments and public buildings. In addition to serving as Managing Director, Dave leads the Housing Market Team for Shive-Hattery.

The Granary District, which surrounds our Omaha architecture firm, is creating jobs, innovation, and economic revitalization. As part of the Granary District, we helped bring a venue to life that features social and business events along Ralston’s Main Street and gives one of the city’s oldest buildings a much-needed facelift.
