On December 2019, facilities handling hazardous drugs must comply with the requirements of USP 800. Starting now will leave you time to secure funding, gather a team, construct the project, and most importantly, get it certified.

The main goal of USP 800 is to provide standards regarding the safe handling of hazardous drugs to minimize the risk of exposure to patients and staff. The standard includes many processes to properly unpack, handle and store hazardous drugs, in negatively pressurized environments.
