Franciscan St. Anthony Health – Michigan City (FSAH-MC) Cancer Treatment Center is truly an example of patient-focused care. By integrating diagnostics, medical and radiation oncology, related specialists, education and counseling and a specialized navigator (treatment planning coordinator) in a single location, they are able to provide convenient, comprehensive, and personal care for each patient.

Our goal as designers was to express a sense of technical excellence for the patients in a warm healing setting (high tech and high touch). Challenged with numerous site easement restrictions we were able to create Daylight and views throughout. In medical oncology each patient has views to a healing garden. Key team members included Albert Kahn Associates for oncology planning, KJWW Engineering, Tonn and Blank as contractors and HSA Primecare as developer.
