Located 10 minutes walking from the University of Iowa campus, Riverfront West Student Housing is designed to fulfill the increasing demand for student accommodations that cater to modern living standards and sustainability.

After acquiring 4.5 acres near the University of Iowa campus, Scannell Properties partnered with Shive-Hattery for a comprehensive architectural and engineering solution that would not only accommodate the housing needs of university students but also align with stringent zoning and regulatory standards.

Scheduled for completion in time for the 2025 academic year, the project will introduce 291 units — ranging from one to three bedrooms. The development is set to significantly alleviate the housing shortage near the university, introducing top-tier living spaces equipped with sustainable features and community-oriented amenities.
